Earth Systems Southwest conducted a bench-scale laboratory test program to evaluate treatability technologies to stabilize soils from a chemical waste disposal area at the North Island Naval Air Station near San Diego. Remediation technologies evaluated included deep soil mixing with cement and bentonite, solidification/stabilization with sodium silicate and cement, and soil washing.
