Earth Systems Pacific recently acquired a 2008 Mobile B-53 Drill Rig. Nicknamed “Big Red,” the rig is mounted on a 2008 International 4x4 Heavy Duty Diesel carrier truck, and has the capability of drilling with 4-inch to 8-inch diameter augers.
A mast-mounted, efficient, automatic safety hammer provides the ability to drive California Samplers and Standard Penetration Test samplers while obtaining accurate blow counts. This is particularly important when gathering data for liquefaction analyses.
