Earth Systems is pleased to announce that Mr. Michael W. Laney, registered civil and geotechnical engineer, has joined its team of geoprofessionals. His career highlights include:

over 17 years of experience with residential, commercial, public works, and renewable energy projects including the Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project

managing environmental site assessments and remediation services

expertise in seismic design and engineering of deep foundations
-
service on the Board of Directors of the California Geotechnical Engineering Association (CalGeo).
Mr. Laney will provide geotechnical engineering and materials testing and inspection services for solar and wind energy development, elementary schools and colleges, public works, and residential and commercial construction projects. In his spare time, Mike enjoys researching his family history and building plastic airplane models. Both hobbies merge in his latest project: building a model of the U.S. Army Air Force's B-25 which his grandfather piloted in WWII.
