Mr. Craig S. Hill, Professional Engineer and former President and CEO of Earth Systems Southwest in Bermuda Dunes, has been promoted to the position of President and CEO of Earth Systems, Inc. He fills the position formerly held by Mr. Michael V. Smith, who has been promoted to Chairman of the Board of Earth Systems, Inc.
Mr. Hill brings over 30 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, project management, and executive oversight to his new position. He has been instrumental in advancing Earth Systems’ services for the renewable energy industries, and he is pleased to lead the company forward as we continue engineering for the future.

Mr. Patrick Boales, certified engineering geologist and certified hydrogeologist, has been promoted to the position of President and CEO of Earth Systems Southern California. He fills the position formerly held by Mr. Richard Beard who has been promoted to Chairman of the Board of Earth Systems, Inc.; Mr. Beard remains chief geotechnical engineer at our Ventura office.
Mr. Boales brings over 30 years of management and engineering geology experience to his new position. As senior engineering geologist for Earth Systems Southern California, he continues to perform geologic hazards studies and provide engineering geology expertise.
